Transformative Opportunity in Markets Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Senior Analyst, AVP to join our cross-functional global team within the Markets Operations COO organization.
About the Role
This AVP role will support our Regulatory transformation portfolio as a Project Manager/ Business Analyst, working on one or more projects for Markets Operations. The successful candidate will combine project management expertise and analytical skills to drive cross-product and region transformation, implementing best practices and global consistency, simplifying and standardizing processes, and flows.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Governance and Reporting
- Design and implement fully auditable program governance and reporting to measure project performance against targets and deadlines.
- Stakeholder Management and Requirements Gathering
- Work with stakeholders to ensure scope and requirements are documented, backed by a business case/cost benefit analysis is in line with business objectives and that there are trackable, tangible benefits with associated KPIs.
- Data Analysis and Presentation
- Source, analyze, and present data to support decision-making.
- Problem-Solving and Solution Development
- Develop, assess, and recommend options to solve for day-to-day business problems.
- RAID Log Management and Escalation
- Implement and maintain RAID logs and manage resolution and escalations in a timely manner.
- Budget Management and Stakeholder Partnership
- Monitor, report, and manage budgets and expenditure.
- Partner with business stakeholders to secure SME resources.
- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to interpret and/or document rules and legislation, determine and agree scope of solutioning or remediation.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Improvement and Change Management
- Promote the use of industry and bank best practice principles in scoping, planning, process, and engineering capabilities to deliver key regulatory outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience in delivering transformation programs in a fast-paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations, risk, or technology organization.
- Project Management skills; specialized project management and/or re-engineering certifications (six sigma, Agile, Lean, Prince 2 or PMP).
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities along with a desire to work in a dynamic environment is key.
- Excellent analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills and ability to clearly document findings and proposals for solutions using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships both internally and externally to collaborate effectively. Ability to influence individuals who do not directly work for you.
- Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, with the ability to discover and internalize diverse stakeholder goals brokering solutions that are in the best interest of Citi as a whole.
- Strong risk management and control mindset.
- Can exercise independence of judgment and autonomy and can operate with a limited level of direct supervision, is results-oriented.
- Experience facilitating boards and other key meetings.
