About the Role

Olliver Charles Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, service, and repair of refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical diagnostic checks.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure work is carried out to their satisfaction and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Supervise and train service engineers and apprentices on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Engineer with installation and mechanical/electrical installation of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Working knowledge of environmental and health & safety regulations, and relevant EC directives.
  • Experience servicing piston, screw, and centrifugal compressors.
  • Experience with HCFC, HFC, and NH3 refrigerants.
  • Able to diagnose faults, including system design problems.
  • Working knowledge of PC and PLC-based controls and instrumentation.
  • C&G F-Gas 2079 and Safe Handling of Ammonia Certification.
