Role: Sales Development Representative

Salary: £25k basic, £36k ote (uncapped)

Sector: Advertising & Media

Location: Glasgow (office-based)

This sales role is ideal for ambitious sales professionals who want to help us grow our footprint and client base across the Scottish market. Our company is one of Scotland's leading independent media companies with a wide array of high-profile B2B and consumer titles and events on its roster.

Key responsibilities:

  • Qualify strategic selling opportunities and target markets/clients
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline by proactively driving activity via self-generated opportunities as well as by following up on marketing leads
  • Personally develop, own and execute an ambitious new client acquisition plan in your territory
  • Develop, manage and constantly improve on your personal lead generation through proactive networking via digital and face-to-face channels and events
  • Take ownership of your territory as if it was your own business by constantly improving on activity and conversion

Requirements:

  • At least 9 months experience in B2B sales
  • Proven track record in generating new business through cold calling, LinkedIn, & email
  • Enthusiastic approach and great telephone manner
  • A confident communicator, able to sell consultatively and tailor converting solutions for clients
  • Excellent command of English - second languages a strong plus
