About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Anderselite LTD. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing commissioning activities for water and sewage projects from inception through design, planning, delivery, and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of MEICA Commissioning activities and systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) within industry specifications and compliance guidelines, safely and efficiently.
  • Work on projects from inception through to completion, providing design and planning input, and ensuring safe and timely delivery of commissioning activities in accordance with client specifications.
  • Monitor and assist with testing and commissioning budgets, and review and monitor risks vs opportunities.
  • Assist with inductions and tool box talks, and review designs including FDS (Functional Design Specification), P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), etc.
  • Test systems and sign off Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and create reports, Commissioning Plans, and O&M documentation.
  • Supervise and manage subcontractors, and attend clients' meetings as required, including progress and commissioning meetings.
  • Develop PLC software packages, and have a working knowledge of HSQE legislation and safe delivery of works on site.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Commissioning Engineer within the Water sector.
  • An industry-applicable qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Commissioning.
  • Relevant HSE qualifications such as CSCS (IOSH, SMSTS, EUSR, NICEIC C&G desirable).
  • A working knowledge of HSQE legislation and safe delivery of works on site.
  • An appreciation for wider Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Process works, able to liaise with internal teams.
