Job Description

In this exciting role as a Logistics HGV Driver, you will be responsible for driving HGV1 articulated container automatic gearshift lorries. Your primary duties will include:

  • Driving safely and efficiently to meet client deadlines;
  • Keeping all paperwork and electronic records updated in accordance with WTD regulations;
  • Using internet-connected smartphone devices to complete drops and collections;
  • Adhering to DP World London Gateway procedures while inside Port areas;

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience driving HGV1 containers and hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, DCPC Card, and Digital Tachograph card.

This is a temporary contract position with immediate start availability. The working hours are from 3:00 am to finish, Monday to Friday, and ad-hoc weekends. Location: Chichester. Estimated salary £17-23 per hour.
