About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Teacher of Physics to join our team at Colchester County High School for Girls. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Physics throughout the school at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, as well as either Chemistry or Biology to GCSE.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for Science education and a proven track record of inspiring students to achieve their full potential. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Physics and/or Chemistry/Biology to GCSE students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Mentor and support students in their academic progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance curriculum development
