Warehouse Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Service Engineer to join our team at Toyota Material Handling UK. As a key member of our After Sales department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, servicing, and modifying our range of products.
This is a challenging role that requires someone with strong mechanical engineering skills, including experience in fault finding and resolving faults on company products. You will also be responsible for providing local after-sales support to customers, dealing with customer enquiries, and achieving agreed targets.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, or plant technician, and possess excellent communication skills. You should also be able to work on your own initiative and build good rapport with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, overhaul, fault find and resolve faults on company products.
- Respond to breakdowns
- Provide local after sales support to customers.
- Deal promptly with customer enquiries, problems, or complaints.
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical engineering.
- Basic electrical knowledge would be beneficial.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Able to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
