Exciting Opportunity for a Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer

Award-winning consultancy AWP seeks an experienced professional to lead flood risk and drainage input on projects across the south-west region.

About the Role:

  • Lead the flood risk and drainage input on projects such as city centre regeneration schemes, renewable energy facilities, and affordable housing developments.
  • Work closely with senior colleagues and the wider team of civil engineers and technicians to deliver projects within agreed program and budgets.
  • Collaborate with Transport Planning and Development Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Flood Risk Assessment process and related design expertise.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to guide the Flood Risk and Drainage team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
