We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Co-Founder in Residence for Methane Removal from Air. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us on a cutting-edge project that aims to develop innovative solutions for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in inorganic/physical chemistry, physics, environmental, chemical or mechanical engineering, materials science, or atmospheric (geo)chemistry. They will also have experience in leading or managing commercial delivery of an innovative biotech, engineering, industrial, or hardware technology venture.
The role will involve working closely with our team to co-found and spin-out a new company that focuses on methane removal from air. The candidate will be responsible for translating scientific discoveries into commercial opportunities and conducting techno-economic analyses and market assessments.
We offer a unique opportunity to work with a team of experienced operators who have founded companies and led the translation of science at some of the most respected universities, charities, funds, and government agencies. Our team provides access to optimised, purpose-built, proprietary tools, resources, and processes to help create high-impact ventures from scratch.
The successful candidate will have a majority equity stake in the new company and will receive continuous post-spinout support, including fundraising, commercial partnerships, recruitment, and team-building.
