About the Role:

ERM is seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Sustainability Advisory & Transaction Services team, you will work closely with clients to deliver best-in-class ESG services and drive sustainability excellence across their organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in driving ESG integration, value creation, and impact performance improvements across portfolio companies.
  • Work across ERM and the firm's functions to deliver leading operating capabilities and insights to clients' portfolio companies.
  • Lead and direct large, global projects, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Provide expert guidance on strategic ESG-related matters leveraging our global pool of subject matter experts.
  • Drive innovation and growth within a dynamic team.
  • Support the development and delivery of clients' post-investment portfolio company ESG programs.
  • Work with clients to design and execute post-investment value creation plans.
  • Provide insights, guidance, and support to clients and portfolio company management on integrating ESG and impact into broader business practices and business models.
  • Develop repeatable processes, frameworks, toolkits, assessment scorecards, and other materials for clients and support their deployment across investment portfolios.
  • Ensure ESG interventions and reporting are completed for clients' portfolio companies.
  • Support ESG and impact due diligence on key ESG & impact drivers to increase value and reduce risks.
  • Demonstrate knowledge frameworks and regulatory drivers, including TCFD, EU Green Deal components, and the ESG Data Convergence Initiative.
  • Demonstrate an ability to identify and manage commercial and operational risks from conception through to project delivery.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through project communications & engagement, quality of deliverables produced, and translating complex technical topics into commercial opinions and potential opportunities.
  • Provide leadership skills focused on engagement, decision-making, and execution.
