Gama Aviation LLC invites applications for the position of Aircraft Technical Lead - Rotary Specialist in our Glasgow facility.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of rotary aircraft being handled by our Glasgow facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and quality procedures, and collaborating closely with the engineering manager and certifying staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily production/safety briefs and escalate issues to leadership as necessary
- Work closely with the engineering manager and certifying staff to ensure efficient task allocation and dynamic adjustments
- Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements and quality procedures
- Manage shift compliance with company practices, time booking accuracy, attendance, and appearance
- Report quality and safety events in a timely manner
- Deliver detailed shift handover reports prior to shift end
- Oversee aircraft delivery timescales and escalate to senior management when necessary
- Resolve technical matters related to rotary aircraft efficiently
- Maintain a detailed schedule and tracking system
- Provide support to line engineers with defect rectification
Requirements:
- 8 years' experience in an aircraft base and line MX environment
- 5 years' rotary aircraft aviation experience
- Ability to adapt to demand changes and manage the team accordingly
