Transportation Planner

Traffic Management Position

Bartrums is a leading UK Logistics business committed to delivering exceptional customer service through innovative solutions. We are seeking a skilled Transportation Planner to join our dynamic team at Eye, Suffolk.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in General Haulage operations and have exposure to large fleet management. This role demands an individual who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions.

Duties:

• Developing and implementing efficient transportation plans
• Maintaining effective communication with colleagues and clients
• Utilizing Transport Management System (TMS) and related tools
• Performing administrative tasks
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Managing resources effectively and resolving complex issues

Requirements:

• Background in General Haulage operations
• Knowledge of transportation management principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with the geography of the UK
• Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
• CPC qualification desirable

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £38,000 - £48,000 per year, based on experience. Benefits include 25 days holiday, a workplace pension scheme, and access to Employee Assistance Programme.
