About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Substance Misuse Specialist to join our team at HMP Risley, a category C men's prison located in Warrington, Cheshire.

As a key member of our Primary Care team, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritizing patient care and developing individualized packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.

Delivering a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both group and 1-1 settings with recovery at the center of our healthcare wellbeing model. You will carry out comprehensive assessments, initiate and review individual recovery plans and confidently communicate the full range of treatment options available to service users.

The successful candidate will receive an estimated hourly rate of £22.19 per hour - depending on experience and have access to a range of benefits including bespoke induction, competency framework, regional and national career development opportunities, and support from the wider team.

Requirements include registration as a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD), RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake, and sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
