About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant to join our Environment & Safety Team at SOCOTEC UK Limited. As an Acoustic Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in monitoring, assessing, and complying with noise and vibration-related impacts in the built environment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake site surveys and data collection to support clients in meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct noise and vibration assessments, and provide expert advice on mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business development, clients, and contractors, to deliver high-quality services.
  • Support the team in data processing, computer modeling, report preparation, and technical reviews.
  • Develop and implement Section 61 applications, BS 4142 assessments, and noise risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Strong technical expertise in acoustics and noise control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid full UK driving license.
  • Excellent written English report writing skills.
