Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based nursing care, support, and advice to individuals with mental health needs. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering individualised nursing care, establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, and overseeing care planning and implementation.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health needs.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement effective care plans that address patients' complex mental health needs.
  • Medication Management: Administer medication safely and effectively, as prescribed by medical professionals.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Registration: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
  • Mental Health Knowledge: Strong understanding of mental health conditions and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
