Job Title: Senior / Principal Sensor R&D Engineer

Flusso Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior / Principal Sensor R&D Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our core sensor technology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of new sensor technology and product concepts, aligning with our business strategy.
  • Design and develop MEMS devices for sensor products, including studying existing technology, creating novel MEMS concepts, and contributing to MEMS wafer process requirements and specifications.
  • Perform theoretical and numerical analysis, modeling and simulation, and validate results with experimental data.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to develop manufacturing processes and production test solutions for sensor devices.
  • Contribute to the creation of protectable IP and draft patent applications.
  • Design and conduct experiments, including designing circuitry, modifying firmware, and extracting sensor data with optimal signal-to-noise ratios.
  • Analyze test data to extract information about true performance of new sensing technology, products, and solutions.
  • Participate in project planning activities, estimating time and effort needed for sensor development tasks.
  • Report project task status and present results for peer review in project team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a similar field; postgraduate degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in developing MEMS devices, with significant knowledge of one or more of the following: simulations and/or layout, wafer process development and fabrication, packaging, device characterization and testing, and device qualification.
  • Preference given to candidates with knowledge and experience in sensor development, circuits and/or firmware, data analysis, and relevant patents and/or publications in the field.
