About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Barbering Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to learners, covering NCFE Barbering Levels 2 and 3. This involves preparing and delivering lesson plans that address various training needs, engaging learners through training sessions, and providing ongoing support to help them progress towards their career goals.

Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver training programs that meet the needs of learners, focusing on basic literacy, numeracy, employability, and barriers to employment
• Use effective communication and presentation skills to engage learners and promote learning
• Work closely with learners to identify their strengths and areas for improvement, providing tailored support to help them achieve their objectives
• Collaborate with other professionals to promote Equality, Diversity, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety

The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification, NVQ Level 3 in Barbering, Maths and English Functional Skills level 2 / GCSE equivalents, and experience in delivering on-the-job training to colleagues or apprentices. They should also possess excellent presentation and communication skills, be confident and tenacious, and able to work independently.

The estimated salary for this position is up to £34,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
