Job Purpose: As a Pest Control Technician with City Facilities Management, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pest control services to Asda sites. This includes identifying and preventing pest infestations, conducting regular inspections, and implementing effective control measures. You will also be required to maintain accurate records and communicate with store colleagues and line managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prevent and control pest infestations at allocated Asda stores and distribution centers.
  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance visits for pest control.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-outs from the Asda Helpdesk.
  • Complete reports and communicate with store colleagues and line managers on a daily basis.
  • Build good working relationships with Asda and City Facilities Management colleagues.
  • Take ownership of pest-related issues, such as cleaning and proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.
  • Provide on-site training to Asda and City Facilities Management colleagues.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of pest control principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
