Job Title: Project Engineer - Trim Shop

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at the Recruitment Bunker. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of Internal and external Trim Shop projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee project budgets and work with senior management to ensure cost efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver Trim Shop work to the highest standards.
- Quote Management: Work in conjunction with senior management to produce accurate Trim Shop quotes following the correct ordering process.
- Bill of Materials: Produce accurate Bill of Materials for all trim shop projects.
- Scheduling: Schedule Trim Shop workload in line with capacity and customer requirements.
- Team Management: Support senior management to enable the efficient day-to-day running and sustainable growth of the Trim Shop.
Requirements:
- Experience: Strong experience of working within an Automotive/Manufacturing environment with relevant experience as a Project Engineer within interiors / exteriors or within a Project Support/ Management role.
- Communication: Ability to liaise and communicate with other departments, suppliers, and other service providers.
- Time Management: Ability to manage one's own time, multitask and prioritise workload accordingly.
- Software Skills: Proficient in project management tools, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Leadership: Ability to produce reports and conduct meetings, plans work and cascades to team, integrates departmental planning with other business units.
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrates good emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism.
- Organisation: Organised, Methodical but Flexible approach to workload.
- Eligibility: Must have IDLR/ Full right to work in UK- Sponsorship will not be provided.
Desirable Skills:
- Design Experience: Experience and knowledge of designing project guidelines and procedures.
- Leadership Experience: Can lead small teams.
- Education: Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
