Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading building products manufacturer in Pontefract to find a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Manager.

Salary: Up to £50,000

Hours: Monday to Friday - day shift only

Our client is a pioneering market leader in their field, committed to sustainability and excellence in customer satisfaction. They seek a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Operations Management professional to drive success and lead their production team.

As the Manufacturing Operations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring operational excellence and optimal efficiency. You'll be responsible for leading a talented team, managing budgets, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational budget management, including labour, equipment, and materials
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff across multiple functions
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and promote a continuous improvement mindset in all your team
  • Ensure the focus is on efficient production processes and a high-quality accurate output
  • Promote a right-first-time mentality
  • Continuously promote and monitor Health & Safety

Requirements:

  • Experience in operations management within the manufacturing or construction industry
  • Strong leadership experience and able to manage across multiple functions
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven budget management skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
