Project Manager - Electrical Engineering

Astute People is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit a Project Manager with good electrical knowledge to be involved in their lighting and grid projects.

The Project Manager role comes with a salary of up to £70,000 and excellent company benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Project Director, you will demonstrate effective individual and collective SHE leadership and promote enthusiastic SHE culture.
  • Manage Safety through early development incorporating life cycle designs that minimise risk to personnel.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and assist in preparation of risk assessments, method statements and investigations into accidents and near misses.
  • Ensure compliance to NERS and CDM.
  • Manage the Projects Portfolio to meet the key program milestones and the requirements of the employer deliverables in line with agreed company procedures and best practice.
  • Ensure the Project delivery team and individual projects are suitably resourced in line with workload and budget.
  • Responsible for approving the scope of works, the plan and the target cost for each element of the project the PM is assigned to.
Requirements
  • Electrical Qualification - in electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • Min 5 years Electrical Experience within ICP delivery of HV /EHV Networks.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
