Financial Manager, Transactional Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Transactional Finance Manager to join Alzheimer Scotland's finance team. This role will lead on our day-to-day financial transactions across all areas, ensuring they are coordinated, planned, and developed alongside the finance team.

The successful candidate will have at least 4 years' experience of working in a transactional finance role within a complex organisation, alongside management and supervisory experience. They will possess the skills to take on the tasks outlined in the job description, including line management and supervisory responsibility for a team of finance assistants.

The ideal candidate will have significant exposure to the full finance function and be a strong communicator, able to balance competing priorities and ensure routine workload alongside ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting is completed to a high standard within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on day-to-day financial transactions across all areas
  • Coordinate, plan, and develop financial transactions alongside the finance team
  • Line management and supervisory responsibility for a team of finance assistants
  • Ensure routine workload alongside ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting is completed to a high standard within deadlines

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience of working in a transactional finance role within a complex organisation
  • Management and supervisory experience
  • Significant exposure to the full finance function
  • Strong communication skills
