About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant - Evenings to join our Housekeeping Team at The Children's Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of housekeeping services, ensuring excellent levels of cleanliness and infection control procedures are consistently met across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas, ensuring daily tasks are completed according to standard operating procedures.
  • Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis, carrying out special requests in relation to housekeeping.
  • Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment, and maintain sufficient stock levels, informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
  • Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis, and cleaning of carpets, curtains, and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
  • Report any repairs required to fixtures and fittings to the designated Facilities Helpdesk, and inform the Housekeeping Supervisor of any issues.
  • Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring any works are completed to agreed service levels.
  • Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
