We are recruiting an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Mixxos Group in Stevenage. This exciting opportunity involves visiting and inspecting sites within a one-hour radius.

In this role, you will work closely with senior management teams to promote the highest standards of leadership in HSEQT procedures and best practice. You will ensure compliance with company procedures and legal obligations, monitoring performance through inspections, audits, and engagement. Your findings will inform senior management decisions through detailed performance reports.

You will also assist with improvements, initiatives, and targeted campaigns to address areas of poor performance. Additionally, you will investigate events, identify root causes, and implement controls to prevent reoccurrence. Furthermore, you will help analyze training needs, arrange courses, and book training sessions to align with business requirements. As an ambassador for learning and development, you will promote a culture of growth and improvement across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate, NCRQ Certificate, or NVQ Level 3 Occupational Health and Safety qualification. Relevant sector experience in Infrastructure, Construction, or Civil Engineering is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
