Company Overview: EC&I Partners Limited is a leading provider of control systems engineering solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Design Engineer to join our team in Tamworth.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems for vehicle thermal management applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and contribute to the development of innovative control systems solutions.

Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Designing and developing electrical control systems for vehicle thermal management applications.
  2. Specifying electrical and electronic control components.
  3. Writing software control specifications.
  4. Managing software suppliers to ensure delivery and customisations are managed.
  5. Managing the testing phase of software to ensure system operates as specified.
  6. Managing customer project requirements to ensure fulfilment.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in general Electrical and Electronic Control Design, electrical and PLC environment. You should also have extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks Electrical or similar CAD experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Additionally, you should have experience in specifying hardware control units, writing software specification, and managing external suppliers.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum depending on experience.
