Job Title: Dataops Engineer

Job Summary:

L&G Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Dataops Engineer to support regulatory data deliverables across several Regulatory Enhancement initiatives. As a Dataops Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data pipelines and databases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support regulatory data deliverables.
  • Database Administration: Administer and manage relational databases to ensure data integrity and security.
  • ETL Process Management: Manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into databases and data warehouses.
  • Database Connection Setup and Management: Set up and manage database connections to ensure seamless data transfer.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data on trading platforms to understand order and trade lifecycle events.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GDPR, MAR, MiFID, and WORM regulations.

Requirements:

  • Essential Proficiency in SQL: Proficiency in writing database queries using SQL and general understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL Processes: Experience with ETL processes, familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, and experience with tools such as Qliksense, PowerBI, or equivalent.
  • Database Administration Skills: Ability to administer and manage relational databases.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with GDPR, MAR, MiFID, and WORM regulations.

Desired Skills:

  • Dataops / Data Pipeline Output Testing Experience: Experience with testing data pipelines and data outputs.
