**Job Summary**
SF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process hourly paid payroll and manage the fixed asset register and depreciation.
- Be responsible for general ledger cashbook posting and bank reconciliation.
- Assist the Management Accountant with prepayments and accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage the warranty claim reconciliation and prepare hourly paid payroll together with related control account reconciliations.
- Manage expenses and credit card functions.
- Provide support to the purchase ledger clerk, including dealing with queries on problematic accounts and assisting in supplier statement reconciliations.
- Provide occasional holiday cover for other team members, including sales and purchase ledger.
- Assist in the implementation of new business systems and technology features across the finance function.
- Provide support or lead on ad-hoc tasks and projects for the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
