Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to join their team in Saffron Walden, Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance in a commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairing toilets and sinks, unblocking toilets, and water treatment.
  • Conduct minor installation works and repair pipework and leaks.
  • Assist other trades on site as needed.
  • Carry out planned and reactive works, including AHU's / FCU's filter changes, boiler & chiller checks, fire alarm & sprinkler testing, and pumps and motors maintenance.
Requirements:
  • City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineer / Plumbing.
  • City and Guilds in Water Treatment (desirable).
  • City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems (desirable).
  • Demonstrate previous experience in commercial plumbing.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance material.
