About the Role

As a Senior Private Client Tax Professional with LHH Recruitment, you will play a pivotal part in managing annual compliance work and advisory projects for a personal portfolio of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), including sole traders and partnerships.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage income tax (including National Insurance) and capital gains tax, and review PAYE coding notices when needed.
  2. Review and approve Self-Assessment tax returns prepared by staff and file them electronically.
  3. Communicate with clients on routine and ad-hoc tasks, including inheritance tax, income tax, and capital gains tax, via email, phone, or meetings.
  4. Correspond with HMRC regarding s9A enquiries and digital disclosure facility cases.
  5. Oversee the collection of information needed for tax returns, liaising with clients and third parties.
  6. Bill clients quarterly, monitor reserves, and update partners on billing issues.
  7. Network at events for business development.
About You

You will have experience within a similar role and dealing with complex tax matters. We estimate the salary for this role to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
