Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant/Cashier

Sewell Group is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant/Cashier to join our team at our site in Sutton, Hull. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class service to our customers, ensuring a seamless shopping experience, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the till, manage cash handling, and process transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving and checking deliveries, re-stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Offer product advice and guidance to customers, promoting our products and services, and providing a positive shopping experience.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, maintaining store displays, and ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets, promote products, and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by participating in sales promotions, events, and initiatives.
