The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our domestic services, supervising a team of staff and coordinating their activities to achieve our goals. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and supervising the domestic team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the care home.
- Developing and implementing effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure the care home is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
- Ensuring all equipment and supplies are maintained and replaced as necessary.
- Managing and maintaining the care home's inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Providing training and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the domestic team and identifying areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
