The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our domestic services, supervising a team of staff and coordinating their activities to achieve our goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supervising the domestic team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the care home.
  • Developing and implementing effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure the care home is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensuring all equipment and supplies are maintained and replaced as necessary.
  • Managing and maintaining the care home's inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Providing training and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the domestic team and identifying areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
