We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Principal Soil Management Specialist to join our Sustainable Land and Resource Management team in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality soil management services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in agricultural soil assessment and management, with experience in undertaking soil surveys, collecting soil samples, and interpreting soil chemical and physical analyses. You will also have a proven track record of providing advice on earthworks-related sustainable soils management and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, regulators, sub-contractors, and other internal disciplines to deliver high-quality services.
  • Lead on client work development, preparation of proposals, and input into bids for multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Manage project teams to deliver high-quality results and develop the skills and knowledge of team members.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering or science subject (e.g., geology, environmental science, and soil science).
  • A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Full or Chartered Membership of relevant professional bodies such as the British Society of Soil Science.
Salary:

£65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
