Head of Computer Science Vacancy

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Computer Science to join our team at Wayman Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our Computer Science department and driving innovation in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Computer Science department and develop a vision for the future of computer science education
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive computer science curriculum that meets the needs of our students
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of computer science teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to education
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer science and technology and ensure that our curriculum reflects these changes

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • PGCE/QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience as a Head of Department or similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
