Role Overview

As a White Goods Maintenance Specialist at Currys, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers' appliances are in top condition. You will work independently, driving your company van and managing your day effectively to provide excellent service.

Key responsibilities include testing, diagnosing, and fixing white goods in customers' homes, providing technical knowledge across various appliance types, and building up the company's reputation as a home services expert.

  • Test and diagnose faults in white goods appliances.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of appliances.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure complete satisfaction.
About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working 5 out of 7 days, with an average of 41 hours per week. The salary is between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, increasing to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum for Gas qualified candidates. A quarterly bonus scheme is also in place.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in White Goods repairs.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Ideal (but not essential) ACS Qualifications (or equivalent) in Essential Gas Safety Domestic (CCN1), Gas Cookers and Ranges (CKR1).
