Job Summary:

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency with a strong reputation for excellence, is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a well-established Children's service in Harrow. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend Child in Need planning meetings and develop effective plans to meet the needs of children.
  • Review and monitor child in need care plans to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
  • Identify resources and services required to achieve planned outcomes and implement them within agreed timescales.
  • Assess the developmental needs of children and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Conduct regular visits and maintain accurate records of interactions with children and families.
  • Work with children and families under supervision orders and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Ensure child protection and looked-after children processes are in place and implemented effectively.
  • Seek legal advice when necessary to extend supervision orders or care orders.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant frontline experience in Children's Services.
