About the Role:

As a Product Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our prototype team, turning engineering concepts and drawings into high-quality, customer-ready prototypes. You will work closely with design and production teams, ensuring accuracy and functionality in every project you undertake.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and produce prototypes based on 2D engineering drawings.
  • Utilise your knowledge of manufacturing processes to create high-quality prototypes.
  • Evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and assembly challenges.
  • Take ownership of projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
What You'll Need:
  • Experience in relevant manufacturing processes (experience in a prototype environment is a plus).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings (familiarity with 2D CAD is advantageous).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
