Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Residential Care Manager Leader to join our team at The WhiteTrees Group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals who provide high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.

About the Role

  • To lead and manage a team of staff providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of young people in our care.
  • To work closely with colleagues and external agencies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • To oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support to young people in our residential homes.
  • To manage and develop a team of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • To work closely with external agencies, such as social services and healthcare providers, to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service we provide.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in residential care management, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of childcare legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, young people, and external partners.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £44,720 and £53,040 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including annual leave, sick pay, and access to professional development opportunities.
