Night Warehouse Section Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Warehouse Section Leader to join our team at Wellocks, a leading UK food distributor in the hospitality industry. As a Night Warehouse Section Leader, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations within your team to ensure accurate and timely picking processes of all orders with maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the daily operations within your team to ensure accurate and timely picking processes of all orders with maximum efficiency.
  • Provide coaching assistance to team members to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Understand and confirm full compliance to all Safety and Technical standards.
  • Create a positive working environment within the team and drive excellent levels of accuracy and quality.
  • Manage shift patterns, including a night shift role with a start time of 7pm, with a finish time dependant on the last van being picked and loaded, working 5 out of 6 nights Sunday to Friday.
Requirements:
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar operating systems, is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, supervisory, and customer service skills.
  • Able to identify problems and resolve in a timely manner; possess a sense of urgency and ability to prioritise tasks and resources appropriately.
