Echocardiography Specialist

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of cardiac care services, and we are now recruiting an experienced echocardiographer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

You will be part of a large and busy department with 17 cardiologists, 7 surgeons, 35 cardiac physiologists, and 20 support staff across two sites. Our department offers a range of imaging procedures and clinics, including Transthoracic, TOE, DSE, Dedicated Oncology Monitoring Clinic, and CRT optimisation.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in extended role development, contrast and stress echocardiography, TOE, CRT, 3D, simple SCHD, and specialist valve clinics. You will also participate in the Cath lab on call service and have the potential to rotate through cardiac Cath labs, PPCI, TAVI, CRM device implants.

Salary: £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• BSc (Hons) in a science subject or equal.
• BSE accreditation in adult echocardiography.
• Advanced specialist knowledge of all modalities of echocardiography.
• Excellent knowledge of technical cardiology.
• Ability to perform and report adult TTEs.
