Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Street Homelessness Accommodation Team. As a key member of our Housing Advisory Service, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership to a team of Support Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of proactive support to individuals with multiple and complex needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have previous experience in team management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and implementing effective strategies to achieve business objectives. You will be responsible for managing budgets and projects, monitoring and evaluating team performance, and coaching and supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Street Homelessness Accommodation Team to deliver high performance and ensure the implementation of corporate/departmental practices.
  • Manage budgets and projects within the service, ensuring effective cost management and prioritization.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, recommending improvements based on evidence.
  • Coach and support staff development and recommend service improvement areas based on relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and partners, including internal services and colleagues.
  • Collaborate constructively with partner organizations and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in team management, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing performance and implementing plans and projects to time and budget.
  • Significant experience in management within a statutory or non-statutory homelessness service.
  • Knowledge of welfare, housing, and homelessness policy, strategies, legislation, and case law.
  • High levels of customer service and satisfaction.
