Music Teacher Position at Leap Lessons LLP

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic music teacher to join our team as a Teaching Guitarist/Bassist. This part-time position offers a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours of work per week at £20.00 per hour, resulting in an estimated annual salary of approximately £22,000. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons, inspiring students, and fostering a love for music.

Responsibilities include teaching guitar and/or bass to students in both small group sessions and solo lessons, using a combination of Leap Lessons' bespoke curriculum and a graded exam-syllabus to teach popular music genres. Our music instructors benefit from comprehensive lesson management support, access to state-of-the-art teaching spaces and equipment, ongoing development opportunities, and paid content creation options. In addition, they may participate in events and band formation activities, creating a rewarding teaching experience. To succeed in this role, you should be committed to a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability. While a bachelor's degree and prior teaching experience are preferred, teaching qualifications and experience are highly valued but not essential if other qualities are strong.
