Job Summary

Avery Healthcare seeks a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their award-winning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care for residents, undertaking nursing tasks, and advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake nursing tasks, including medication distribution, dressings, catheterization, and management of chronic medical conditions.
  • Advise families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, ensuring they are informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
  • Deploy and supervise staff effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty periods and residents receive required care.
  • Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
Requirements
  • Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies/qualifications.
  • Display good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
  • Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
