Life Science Equipment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our Life Sciences service team, supporting essential healthcare equipment across hospitals and medical facilities throughout the UK. In this role, you'll work with a well-respected company known for high-impact medical solutions. As a Service Engineer, your work will play a vital role in delivering seamless operation and top-tier service of essential medical devices. You'll be field-based, managing a dynamic workload, troubleshooting, and performing mechanical and electrical maintenance. With a strong support network behind you, including a Service Office and Technical Department, you'll have access to expert guidance and resources for handling complex technical challenges and maintaining equipment at the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular testing, calibration, and servicing of equipment to meet industry standards.
Apply strong diagnostic skills to resolve mechanical and electrical issues in the field.
Maintain a well-stocked inventory of spare parts for quick response times.
Complete service reports, compliance records, and validation reports accurately and on time.
Provide essential out-of-hours support on a rota basis to ensure customer needs are met.

Requirements:
A recognised qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering (e.g., City & Guilds Levels 1 & 2, or equivalent).
Proven experience in a field service environment, ideally within the medical or technical services sector.
Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to deliver outstanding service to clients.
Availability to travel frequently, up to 80% of the time.

This is a field-based role, covering the Nottingham and local area. You will be required to travel to various client sites, including hospitals, care homes, and residential properties.
