About the Role
The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an HSDU Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that provides essential services to our hospitals and wards.
Job Responsibilities
As an HSDU Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the clinical and surgical teams in the provision of high-quality and safe patient care. This will involve working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of work, and adhering to written procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will also need to be able to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach to work.
Training and Development
We are committed to providing our staff with the training and development they need to succeed in their roles. As a new HSDU Technician, you will receive full training to help you become proficient in your duties.
Working Environment
You will be working in a busy hospital environment, with access to a range of facilities and equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of staff members and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Person Specification
- Ability to lift loads in the region of 15 kilos
- Ability to work under pressure and to written procedures with a sense of urgency whilst maintaining high standards of work.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work in an area which deals with equipment used in surgical operations
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
