About the Role

Tire Discounters Inc is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Safety Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any safety or maintenance issues, and perform repairs as needed to ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and repair complex vehicle issues, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are safe and reliable.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and effectively with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Team Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals, providing support and assistance as needed to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Automotive Repair Experience: Minimum two years of experience in automotive repair, with a strong understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance regulations.
  • Virginia Inspector License: Must hold a valid Virginia Inspector license and have at least one year of experience as a Virginia State Inspector.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
