Job Title: Shipbuilding Craftsman

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Shipbuilding Craftsman to join our team at HSB Technical Ltd. As a Shipbuilding Craftsman, you will be responsible for assisting in routine maintenance and refit work in the Marine industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in routine maintenance and refit work on GRP, Steel, Aluminium, and wood vessels.
• Perform finishing skills, including painting and varnishing.
• Complete tasks delegated within the Shipwright/Boat builder's skills, experience, and training.
• Assist with slipping and launching vessels.
• Operate workshop machinery and hand tools.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Time served or proven track record in the Marine Industry.
• Good knowledge of RHIB (Pacific 22/24) experience, including knowledge of Jet drive propulsion systems.
• Boat handling qualifications, such as Powerboat Level 2 or RYA Day Skipper, would be an advantage.
• Ability to work on MOD sites when required.
