Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Primary Intervention Team, providing holistic assessments and interventions to individuals and groups.
The successful candidate will work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary, and be committed to equal opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service, assess and support Young People and Families with common mental health problems, and deliver a range of therapeutic techniques.
Undertake patient-centred interviews, identify areas for change and recovery, and make accurate assessments of risk to self and others.
Requirements
A Post Graduate Certificate for Low Intensity Therapies (IAPT) or equivalent qualification, a current driving licence, and access to a car during working hours are essential.
Substantial mental health working experience, including voluntary work or expertise gained by experience of mental health problems, is also required.
