Job Overview

Gi Group Recruitment is seeking a skilled Lecturer in Maths to join our team based in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified educator to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students of various ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess mathematics courses, including A Level, GCSE, and Functional Skills Literacy, to full-time students and adults.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, ensuring excellent teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Undertake administrative tasks, such as learner registration, attendance tracking, and record keeping.
  • Prepare students for higher levels of study and the workforce by developing specific vocational skills and employability skills through the curriculum.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, schools, industry, and other organizations to promote the client and recruit learners.

Requirements:
  • Experience teaching GCSE maths to students 16+.
  • Appropriate level teaching qualification or willingness to work towards it.
  • Professional qualification in a relevant subject or specialism.
  • Able to deliver maths lessons to students at all levels and abilities using flexible and innovative methods.
  • Ability to transfer practical experience into useful learning activities.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and team working.
  • Work professionally and confidentially with high integrity and flexibility.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people receiving education and training.
  • Willingness to undertake training connected with the post and update own CPD.
  • Commitment to equality relevant to all students, staff, clients, and members of the public.
