About the Opportunity: We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Health Communications Expert to join our team at RBW Consulting. The successful candidate will have a strong scientific background, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.

The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with pharmaceutical clients and delivering content tailored to their objectives. They will also have a solid understanding of industry regulations, including ABPI guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality medical content, including slide decks, webinar scripts, and digital assets.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored communication solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including client services and editorial, to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Ensure all content adheres to compliance standards, including ABPI guidelines.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior writers to uphold quality and team development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer within a medical communications agency.
  • Strong scientific background, with a BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences; advanced degrees (MSc, PhD) preferred.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to simplify complex scientific concepts.
  • Experience working directly with pharmaceutical clients and delivering content tailored to their objectives.
  • Familiarity with ABPI compliance and other industry regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 per annum
