Job Title: Part-Time Administrator


Job Summary


Our client is a renowned print business, established over 60 years ago, with a strong presence in the marketing and communications sector. Based at their headquarters in Cheadle, they are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their Procurement team on a part-time, permanent basis.


The Ideal Candidate


We are looking for an organised and efficient individual with excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, with experience in procurement and purchasing processes.


Responsibilities



  1. Coordinate service desk activities, including booking travel, ordering stationery and catering supplies, and supporting the purchasing and procurement teams with administrative duties.
  2. Gather pricing and quotations, and prepare options for goods and services.
  3. Accurately raise purchase orders in a timely manner.
  4. Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  5. Deal with service desk requests from internal customers, keeping them fully updated on the status and progress of their orders, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  6. Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements



  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • GCSE level education, including Maths and English at C level or above.
  • Competent user of Microsoft computer packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
